Field Notes Expands Global Accessibility translated Into 100+ Languages
November 30, 2025, Toronto — Field Notes, a botanical illustration and visual communications project by Seraphina Sol has expanded its global reach. Now available in over 100 languages, the project widens its accessibility across cultures and design communities worldwide, advancing its aim to bring clarity, intention, and thoughtful communication to inspire appreciation for natural environments.
Rooted in clarity, intention, and cross-disciplinary dialogue, Field Notes was conceived as a way to bring scientific observation, material understanding, and visual storytelling into a shared space. Its global translation marks a new chapter, that broadens access and allows the work to meet audiences across the world.
“Accessibility has always been important to my practice. Seeing Field Notes carried into over 100 languages reinforces the purpose of the project—to make complex ideas legible, thoughtful, and available to people all around the world.” —Seraphina Sol
This multilingual expansion builds on the project’s earlier recognition at the A’ Design Award, where Field Notes received the Bronze distinction in visual communications. With its presence now broadened across international design networks, the project continues to evolve and inspire global conversations.
